About

I'm Jorge Benavides Aspiazu (jobenas), an electrical engineer focused on IoT, connected systems, and the intelligence layer above them.

My work spans the full stack: embedded firmware for constrained hardware, multi-network deployments across LoRaWAN, LTE-M, and satellite, data ingestion pipelines, cloud backends, and AI agent infrastructure that reads and reasons across what those pipelines produce.

The interesting problems sit at boundaries — between devices and networks, between networks and cloud systems, between structured sensor data and questions that data can't directly answer. That last boundary is where I've been spending more time.

I also ship tools. phantom-browse is a stealth browser automation library I published on PyPI — built for human-like interaction patterns and session reuse across extended runs.

This site is where I write about patterns that hold up in production, particularly the ones that only surface once systems grow.
